What do Airbnb's fees add on top of your software?

How do you compare total cost across platforms?

- Price it again at double your property count, so growth doesn't force a surprise later.
- Multiply any per-booking percentage by your typical monthly booking revenue and add it to the subscription.
- Add setup fees, onboarding fees, and any paid add-ons, spread over the first year.
- Ask what payment processing costs on a typical reservation, and add the difference between candidates.

Questions we hear most
Is free vacation rental software worth it?
Sometimes, at very small scale. One property on one channel can run on the channel's own calendar and a spreadsheet. The cost shows up later as hours of manual updates and double-booking risk once a second channel or property appears.
Why is the advertised entry price lower than what most hosts end up paying?
Entry plans are usually priced for one or two properties with core features only. Adding properties, channel connections, a booking website, or automation often moves you to a higher tier, so compare the price of the plan you would end up on.
Does Lodgix charge per booking?
Yes, but only if you integrate directly to the channels. Bookings taken through your own website never carry a fee. Fees apply only when you integrate directly with a channel, and our fee on Airbnb and Vrbo bookings is 1/2%. Your subscription itself does not change: flat monthly pricing with no direct per-booking fees and no contracts. It stays the same however many bookings you take.
